Jose M. Sandoval Vela, 57, of Lodi, passed away April 1, 2011 at a Lodi hospital. He was born June 8, 1953 in Gral. Joaquin Amaro Zacatecas, Mexico to Ignacio & Elisea Sandoval. A laborer for 39 years, he was previously a paralegal. Mr. Sandoval was the devoted son of Ignacio & Elisea Sandoval, the beloved husband of Maria A. Sandoval, the loving father of Sandra Sandoval, Joe Sandoval, Jimmie Sandoval, Janet Sandoval and Javier Sandoval, the dear brother of brothers Ignacio Sandoval and Isidoro Sandoval and of sisters Carmela Camacho, Margarita Sandoval, Lolita Sandoval, Sarita Sandoval, Luz Elena Sandoval and Rosa Sandoval, and the cherished grandfather of Jessica, Jocelyn, Joanna, Jaylen, Anthony, Janice, Jimmie Jr. and Joe Jr. (and 3 on the way). Friends are invited Tuesday, April 5, 2011 to visitation starting at 10:00am,and vigil (rosary) 4 - 6pm, both at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School St., to the Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00am, April 6, 2011 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 215 W. Walnut St. and to the committal following at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine St.
