George Franklin Beem, 88, of Stockton passed away on January 6, 2012. He was born November 8, 1923 in Lawton, Michigan and was raised in Comstock, Michigan. Mr. Beem served in the United States Army in World War II and saw action in Europe. He later was employed in a papermill in Michigan. He came to California in 1964 and Lodi in 1966 where he was worked in farming until his retirement.He was preceded in death by his wife Francis Beem in 1986. He is survived by his daughters, Evadawn Lopez, Sherry Pastor, Rolinda Geer, and Brenda Gonzales, sons, Steven Beem and Tim Beem. Services will be private.
