Lois M. Trew, 81, of Lodi, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012. She was born March 11, 1931 in Okemah, Oklahoma. She came to California in 1948 and was a graduate of Tracy High School. Lois married Spence Trew in 1951 and they came to Lodi in 1961. Lois was a 40 year member of Lodi Avenue Baptist Church and also worked many years as the church secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Spence Trew and a brother Kenneth Chadwick. She is survived by children, Stephen Trew and Melody Laprarie, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Trew will be Monday noon to 7:00 PM at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 South School St, Lodi. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 2 at 11:00 AM at Lodi Avenue Baptist Church. Private committal services will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park prior to the church service.
