No matter how long our loved ones are with us, death always brings pain and sorrow. The reason is that God has 'put eternity' in the hearts of mankind, Ecclesiastes 3:11. The 'enemy. . .death' takes that away from us. But soon 'death is to be brought to nothing' 1 Corinthians 15:26. Until that time hold your warm memories tight and lean on family and friends for comfort. Also lean on God for he gives us 'everlasting comfort and good hope' to cope in the days ahead 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17. My deepest sympathy.
