Karen Therese Williams, 74, of Lodi, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 7, 1942 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of her late parents, Marvin and Helen (Skaff) Anderson. Karen attended schools in Sioux City, IA, where she also met and married her husband. She moved to his home town of Stockton, CA and continued to work for Pacific Bell/AT&T until retiring after 35 years of service as a customer service manager. Her main interests were her family, reading, gardening, playing games, trips to Jackson and traveling with her husband. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, John Williams, sons Richard (Maria) Williams and Robin Williams, and daughter Therese "Tracy" (Joseph) Williams-Gould. She has four grandsons Christopher, Jason (Pat) and Tyler Williams, and Taylor Gould, and a great-grandson Westin Williams. She is also survived by, Sister-in-law Karalee (Ray) McLaughlin, several nieces and nephews, several cousins, including, John (Pat) Skaff, Mark (Michelle) Skaff, Mary and Patty Skaff. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, 215 W. Walnut, Lodi, CA. Family and friends are also invited to a Celebration of Life immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of San Joaquin or your local Cancer Society.
