Obituary of Jean H. Ray

Jean H. Ray, of Stockton, passed away on July 28, 2016, at the age of 88. Mrs. Ray was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 22, 1928. She had a 30 year career as a Communications Operator for the U. S. Navy. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Stockton, CA. She enjoyed Bingo, bowling, the horse races, and working in her garden. Jean is survived by her husband, Randall Ray; sister, Evelyn Inafuku; daughters, Genevieve (Michael) Lopez, Stephanie Williams (David Organ), and Margie (David) Iturraran; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Suekichi and Yone (Noda) Morisaki; sister, Edith Nakata; brothers, Richard Nishimura and Thomas Morisaki; and grandson, Randy King. Friends are invited to visit Friday, August 5, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. at Rocha's All Faiths Cremation & Burial, 215 S. School Street, Lodi. Committal will be private. Jean will always be remembered for her energetic personality, and generous giving nature.
