Nothing is an Accident

You never know in advance the roles you and people you meet will play in each others lives. I truly believe I was destined to meet Doug and how he impacted my life. With that here is my story of how I met Doug.

When Doug sat in the same row but a seat away from me on the plane, he looked really irritated and bothered. At that time, I had no interest finding out since I was glued to my laptop doing homework. About 15 minutes later and the plane in the air, Doug looked over and asked what I was doing and I told him I was working on a biotech project for school. Sure enough, the guy in the middle wanted to sit next to the window so Doug and I can continue to talk without having him in the middle of the conversation.

After moving, Doug and I began to talk, and he told me that he lost his wallet in South America. He didnt know how he was going to get to Bart from the airport. I told him I live in Fremont and it would be no problem to take him. It was the weirdest thing. I looked at this man, and some strange force that is so much more powerful than myself made me open up to him. We continued to talk and I told him about my project and then later I found out he was the chairman of a Bitoech company. We spent the entire flight discussing everything, which I believe was a pivoting point of my life. Doug gave me some insights on what I needed to do with my career and personal life.

I believe the people I meet who seem special, with whom I connect instantaneously; they enter into my journey to show me that I am on the right path. There are 6 billion people in this world and nothing is an accident. It was truly a blessing to meet you Doug.
