Floyd Gipson passed away peacefully on January 24th in a local hospital at the age of 86. Floyd was born in Calexico, Ca to Willie and Lizzie Gipson. He proudly served in the Air Force. Floyd worked as an inspector for the US Testing. He lived in the Lodi area for the last 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Margie Bowles-Gipson, his daughter Sherry Johnston (Mark), son Paul Gipson (Rebecca), daughter Camile Gipson along with 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at The Woodbridge Missionary Baptist Church at 11am on Saturday, February 4th. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hospice of San Joaquin.
